Lynsey is dedicated to public service, and she has an active indigent defense and civil rights litigation practice. She serves on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia’s Criminal Justice Act panel, where she takes court-appointed cases where defendants cannot afford to hire a lawyer. She is on the board of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office Conviction Integrity Unit, where she meets monthly with a team to reconsider questionable convictions and disproportionate sentences. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Federal Defender Program for the Northern District of Georgia.
Lynsey believes that with liberty and freedom come duty and responsibility, and she takes seriously the call to give back to the community. She volunteers her time and money in support of organizations that support the most vulnerable among us.
